10 Diamond Soft
Ten diamond soft mesh (the first mesh style) began the transition from traditional strung sticks to mesh pockets. Soft mesh has great ball hold but suffers from slow shot speed. In inclement weather a soft mesh pocket can easily become too deep and illegal as the mesh stretches easily. Soft mesh is good for young players or for players who are looking for more ball control. With the introduction of hard mesh most players prefer the more consistent hard mesh over soft mesh.
