About Authentic Lacrosse
AuthenticLacrosse.com was founded in 2006 by Jonathan and JC, a father-son team with over 40 years of involvement in the game. The roots of the company go back to the days of stringing sticks for local youth players and coaches. During this time they truly developed a sense for what was missing and needed in the stick stringing market. At the time, it was difficult to find high quality stringing supplies at a reasonable price. To JC the concept was clear; source stringing supplies that he and his fellow teammates would want to play with and rely on. With a start at testing the local market by offering stringing supplies at an indoor league, it was clear they were on the right track. With these encouraging results, they moved the store online and found themselves navigating the early waters of e-commerce. Since moving online, the company has continued to grow while keeping its home-town feel.
Authentic Lacrosse is best known for its fully customizable stringing kits. A player’s choice and “style” has always been the clear focus of what Authentic Lacrosse offers. With 14 different types of mesh and the ability to mix and match over 20 colors, a player can create an incredibly playable pocket of high quality components to match his personality. Additionally, Authentic Lacrosse offers a fully customized Traditional Stringing kit. The most recent product additions have been well priced balls, goals and a highly competitive wholesale/dealer discount program.

With growth and change, both JC and Jonathan readily admit there have been some bumps. “We’re not a whole lot different than any other start-up who presses ahead with a plan and vision that encounters challenges along the way” says JC. Ultimately, Authentic Lacrosse has managed to create a successful offering of high quality products that players, parents, coaches and enthusiasts can use with great confidence.
